Charlie was the mainstay of several families…he was always on call willingly to help out others whatever the circumstances.  He will be greatly missed and my thoughts are with my sister, Charlie’s maainstay in life and lifelong partner…RIP Charlie.

Uncle Charlie was one of the most profound, generous and interesting characters I’ve ever known and I’m proud to have been a part of his family and I will miss him very much.

Wanted to send my condolences to Uncle Charlie’s family at this terrible loss.  Uncle Charlie was a great man that i got to know in my 32 years of life i always enjoyed seeing him over the holidays either at Christmas time or Thanksgiving time.  He was a warm soul and he had a great sense of humor and he will be missed very much by me and my family.  Uncle Charlie is at peace now and looks down in heaven at all of us and is smiling.  RIP Uncle Charlie   Love your great nephew Andrew

He was my godfather, my uncle, and a very important and influential member of our entire family. He was as good an uncle as there ever could be. More importantly, he was as good a husband and father as there ever could be. Warm, charming, kind, generous for sure, with a great sense of humor.

I cannot thank him nearly enough for what he has done for me and my family. He taught me more than anyone could ever know. I will love him always.
While I will miss him terribly, he will never, ever not be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will truely miss him. I am glad to have had him in my life for the time I did.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Charlie was always friendly and a joy to work with.  He now knows the joys of eternal life.

We were so sad to hear of Uncle Charlie’s passing. It was great that we were able to get to see him that one last time. He was always such a nice man, and was always spoken about with nothing but love and kind words in our house. Love you Uncle Charlie!

We spent many a March in Siesta Key with Charlie. Our lives were enriched having known him.  We will never forget him and Siesta Key will not be the same without him. Sometimes in life you meet someone that holds a special place in your heart.  That is what Charlie was for us.

Charles was a very special person and I enjoyed being his home care nurse. My thoughts and prayers to his family as I know he will truly be missed. I know he is up in heaven walking without getting short of breath, eating wonderful foods without counting his salt, and having a glass of chives before retiring. Rest in peace Charlie. Remembering Charlie is an easy thing…Sometimes people come into your life unexpectedly and this is what he did…Met him in Siesta Key, Florida some years back and made an instant friendship with him…he was just that kind of person..very likeable and above all loveable..so glad we were able to visit him in the summer..you will be missed dear friend and forever live in our hearts….

Working in a close knit environment with my colleagues including Nancy for nearly 17 years, “all of our parents” have become “all of our parents”. We share a collective love and concern for them. Nancy, your father was a tender love of a man. My grief is close to your heart. God’s mercy and grace to your family at this time.

Sorry I couldn’t be there to say goodbye. Thinking of you all. RIP Uncle Charlie.

I served with Charles on the USS Winooski. My deepest condolences. Words cannot express my sadness. May the comfort of God help you through this difficult time.
